Harlingen CISD makes sure children do not go hungry

HARLINGEN, Texas – Harlingen CISD is doing their part to make sure students do not go hungry this summer.

The district’s nutrition department will be distributing free meals to children age 18 and under at eight sites district wide.

The distributions will be taking place daily until June 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“We make sure that no child goes hungry. HCISD is determined to make sure that our children are being fed healthy and nutritious meals.” said HCISD nutritionist Mayra Harrison.
