BROWNSVILLE — In order to test more people for COVID-19, the cities of Brownsville and Harlingen have entered an interlocal agreement that allows Harlingen residents to be tested at a Brownsville-sponsored Drive-thru COVID 19 testing site.
Effective Wednesday, qualifying residents will be able to test for COVID-19 at the Brownsville testing site.
Harlingen residents can qualify for testing whether or not they have insurance.
Testing is available at no cost.
To qualify for a test, residents can visit BTXcares.com to enter the pre-screening questionnaire to determine if they are applicable for a COVID-19 test.
