CBS 4 SPORTS – With district-title implications on the line, Thursday night action on the diamond was big for plenty of RGV baseball teams.
In Sharyland, a huge third inning fueled by great offensive play led the Sharyland Rattlers to a win, 12-3, over the Rio Grande City Rattlers.
In Brownsville, the Rivera Raiders held a one-run lead over the Los Fresnos Falcons with one out to go. A two-out rally in the top of the seventh gave way to an upset win, 8-3, for the Falcons.
