DONNA – Donna ISD announced both Donna High Head Football Coach Ramiro Leal and Donna North Head Football Coach Joe Marichalar will not be on the sidelines next season.
The district posted both job openings early Monday afternoon.
The search comes a bit later in the season than usual, with spring practices just weeks away.
Though Coach Leal will not be on the sideline for the Redskins next season, he will remain with the district. Leal will serve over both athletic programs in an administrative role.
Coach Marichalar’s contract was set to expire in June. The district chose not to renew the deal.
