(CBS 4 Sports) – It was a banner year for former Sharyland slugger Luis Trevino. Now at Abilene Christian University, Trevino has made history in his senior season nearly winning the Southland Conference Triple Crown leading the league in both average and RBI. Trevino also was ninth in the country in average at .408. For his phenomenal season, Trevino was named the Southland’s Player of the Year. The RGV native is this week’s DHR Health Athlete of the Week.
