No Plans To Abandon Running Game

NFL Dallas

When the Dallas Cowboys take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they will do so with a trio of running backs.

Without Ezekiel Elliott for the next six games, one may ask if the offensive philosophy of ‘Run with Purpose’ remains the same?

You don’t change your identity and character in one week’s practice. In getting ready for the next game, the Cowboys are going to run the ball. Doing the running will be Alfred Morris, Darren McFadden and Rod Smith.

The Kansas City Chiefs (6-2) have played well this season in all phases, especially with running back Kareem Hunt. Dallas defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli said stopping the run is key. If you don’t that will give quarterback Alex Smith the time of the day, and you don’t want to do that.
