A needed win for the Dallas Cowboys and they did it on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. The final score 27-20. All smiles in Dallas as the team gets back on track-with their season winding down.
Head Coach Jason Garrett, “I just thought it was a great team win. Offense, defense, kicking game, and everybody was a part of this one and everybody within those units. I think we had 46 guys who were suited up for the game, and 44 of them played. One guy was hurt and one guy was the backup quarterback. Everybody was a part of it, seemed like different guys were making plays at different times. One of the great challenges coming up here playing a division rival, defending world champions at their place, there’s going to be some ebb-and-flow in the game. There’s going to be some good things and you got to keep playing, there’s going to be some adversity and you got to keep playing, and i thought we did a really good job of that throughout the game.”
Dak Prescott, quarterback, “We just got to use this as momentum and continue to grow. This is a winning team and it’s great when you go on the road and win. It’s the first time doing that this year. It’s important for us to feel that and feel that energy in the locker room and to make sure we don’t forget that and that’s what we’re trying to do every time that we go on the road or every game.”
Next for the Dallas Cowboys is the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. It is yet another road game and another must win for Dallas to keep their season alive.
