Zoo animals keeping it cool


BROWNSVILLE, Texas — Temperatures in the Rio Grande Valley seeing triple digits this week. Those looking to beat the heat may find themselves in the high 90’s in shaded areas. Wildlife is no exception. The Gladys Porter Zoo making sure their animals are staying cool by providing a treat for the heat. Treats such as ice, snacks like apples or honey found within the ice to attract the animals.
