Harlingen, Texas (KVEO)—In a time when it is impossible to gather students and parents together, 22 students got in front of a green screen, a camera and performed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The Harlingen CISD Summer on Stage program posted a video on social media on Monday, showing shots of every student’s screen as they acted their part for Snow White.
The performance lasts more than 10 minutes, making the viewer stop thinking about the COVID-19 outbreak and lifting spirits.
“Every year we do Summer on Stage in person, so this year we almost cancelled due to COVID-19. Then we decided it to so it virtually.” said Sally Navarro, a fine arts specialist with the program ” Directors coached students online and parents helped make costumes at home. It ended up being a huge success! We found a way to make art through these hard times”
If you want to enroll your little one to the program, registration will be available for next year here.
