A U.S. Border Patrol Agent from the Valley started a project to appreciate law enforcement officers continuing their day-to-day duties during the pandemic.

Sergio Tinoco created posters that include words of encouragement and the number for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Tinoco then passed them out to several colleagues and encouraged them to take a picture and post it on social media.

Now, Border Patrol families across the country are participating.

“What better way than to have families and friends and the community in general… [say] we support you,” said Tinoco.

The number for EAP is 1-800-755-7002.
