EDINBURG, Texas – UTRGV is helping immigrants and agricultural workers get their GED’s during the pandemic.
The online program runs from Monday through Friday.
Officials said they will be available to help bring more students into the program, “and anybody who wants those services, they can qualify through the program. They must have done at least 75 days of migrant farm work or seasonal farm work within the last three years.”
UTRGV officials hope that this can help migrants and agricultural workers get more secure jobs in the United States.
