South Padre Island’s Sea Turtle Inc closes due to COVID-19 concerns


SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas – In a Facebook post, Tuesday, Sea Turtle Inc announced that they will be closing their doors temporarily due to COVID-19 concerns.

In the post they said that until they could ensure the safety of their staff, volunteers, and general public, they would be temporarily closed.

While they will be closed, they announced that their rehab staff will still be providing care for their patients and the conservation staff will be ready for the nesting season.
