School Ambassador Program making positive strides

MCALLEN, Texas – High school students are having a major say about important issues at McAllen ISD. It is the second year for the Student Ambassador Program. Students from each of the high schools meet with the superintendent twice a year to discuss things they believe need to be addressed in the schools. The superintendent then discusses the findings with other administrators and the school board. He says the ambassadors program has already impacted the district in a positive way.
