Rio Grande City to provide COVID-19 disaster relief bags to residents

Rio Grande City (Texas)– The city of Rio Grande is partnering up with the South Texas Food Bank, Starr County, Precinct 4 Commissioner Ruben Saenz and the Rio Grande Independent School District to provide COVID-19 disaster relief bags.

According to a social media post, the bags will be provided to residents of Starr County on Friday, May 8th at 9:00 a.m. at the Starr County Ringgold Park, while supplies last.

Residents are asked to please wear a mask. No walk-ups will be allowed.
