RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas (KVEO) — The Rio Grande City police department says one of their own has been arrested and is currently facing charges for stalking.

According to a social media post from the department, they were notified in February of a complaint filed against Officer Jake Rodriguez.

Rodriguez was placed on administrative leave on March 10, pending the outcome of the criminal investigation, says the post.

Rodriguez has been with the RGCPD for seven years.
