Person of Interest Sought in Deadly Donna Crash

DONNA, Texas – New details have been released in the deadly rollover crash that happened in Donna, Thursday.

Authorities are identifying the victim and a person of interest.

Texas DPS officials said 37-year-old Fernando Arellano of Mexico died at the scene. The Grand Marquis he was in rolled over when the driver lost control on mile 11 1/2 East of F.M. 493.

Authorities are searching for 37-year-old Mateo Cristante-Gonzalez of Donna.

Local 23 is told he fled the scene of the crash and has visible major head injuries.
