PALMVIEW, Texas — The city of Palmview says they will be actively enforcing the stay-at-home order following the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the city.
According to a release, those in violation of the order may face a fine of up to $1,000 or up to 180 days in jail.

The Hidalgo County Health Department notified the city of the cases on April 10, said the release.
Officials add there is an ongoing investigation into who may have been in contact with the individual.
