New pet ordinance

News

ALAMO, Texas – Following a string of animal cruelty cases in the city of Alamo, neighbors are demanding action.

That is why the city is rolling out a new strict city ordinance.

Now, anyone selling dogs and cats within the city limits must meet certain criteria or face hefty fines and even possible jail time.

Sellers and breeders must now also be licensed to keep track of the number of pets they have in their possession.

The ordinance also applies to average pet owners, limiting the number of pets you can own and demanding they be spayed and neutered.

Pets will also not be allowed to be left inside hot cars without supervision.
