In an extensive effort, officials have arraigned more than 1,100 criminals in a week’s period. Most were U.S. citizens, however, more than 230 were foreign nationals stemming from 13 different countries across Central America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Of the large group arrested, 915 were gang members, 132 were arrested for immigration violations, and just over 1,000 were charged with other criminal offenses.

This large arrest was in partnership with Project Shadowfire, a program targeting gangs across America.
