News

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – If you’re looking to visit Mars but cannot wait for the next interplanetary flight out of SpaceX Brownsville, then there is a quick solution for you.

NASA is offering to send your name to Mars for the upcoming 2020 rover mission.

From now until September 30, the federal agency is collecting names to etch on a microchip placed on the Mars rover landing on the red planet.

Upon registration, visitors get a boarding pass and a frequent flyer account detailing recent and upcoming trips to Mars.

If you’d like to receive your boarding pass, register at: https://mars.nasa.gov/participate/send-your-name/mars2020
