MCALLEN, Texas – Today is day three of the festival promising a spectacular parade for the entire family to enjoy following the fireworks along with top chefs from Mexico cooking homemade recipes and bands playing all of Mexico’s top hits.
“I think it’s the feeling of people coming together, sharing culture, having a great time and we’re seeing that every night. Last time we had thousands of young people, people from all over came to cheer on young Latino doing great things. Just the energy, the vibe, the parade last night was amazing so we’re just excited. We want everyone to come out, have a great time. Be proud of who you are share our culture with the world,” says Adan Garcia, the Creative Ambassador for MXLAN.
To show some spirit tonight’s color to wear is pink.
Entrance and parking are completely free for the entire family. You can also enjoy the festival throughout the weekend.
