Misson CISD awarded recovery grant


MISSION, Texas (KVEO) – According to a press release, Mission CISD has been awarded a COVID-19 Student Support Recovery Grant from the School-Based Healthcare Solutions Network.

The grant will provide ten Mission CISD schools with a fully-funded mental health professional and up to $5,000 a year for the next five years.

The campuses qualifying for the program are: Mission High School, Veterans Memorial High School, Mission Jr. High School, K. White Jr. High School, Alton Memorial Jr. High School, R. Cantu Jr. High School, Bryan Elementary School, Capt. J. Castro Elementary School, O’Grady Elementary School, Waitz Elementary School.
