Mission Police Officer Jose Espericueta’s mortgage paid in full

MISSION, Texas – The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation has announced Sunday that the mortgage on the home of Mission Police Officer Jose Espericueta has been paid in full.

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which is named after a fallen 9/11 firefighter, aims to honor the sacrifice of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001.

Corporal “Speedy” Espericueta’s mortgage is being paid in full as part of the foundations Season of Hope. Corporal Espericueta’s home is the 22nd home that has been paid off.

When told of the mortgage payoff Bobbi Espericueta said, “There are not enough words to express our family’s appreciation for Tunnel to Towers support. This is a community no one ever wants to join, but when tragedy strikes knowing Tunnel to Towers is there brings a special level of comfort. Thank you to everyone involved in paying off our home’s mortgage and wrap-around support services. God bless y’all.”
