Wyatt Walton, of Lone Star Trapping, which provides trapping services in the area says the huge hog was captured by dogs. “We moved shop down to San Antonio in 2016,” said Walton. “Since then we’ve removed over 3,000 head of hogs.”

On September 1, it is now legal to hunt feral hogs in Texas without a license. Currently, it is estimated that there are about 2 million feral hogs across the state.
