Man arrested after claiming to be a law enforcement officer

MCALLEN, Texas – A man who claimed to be a law enforcement officer allegedly threatened a woman to arrest her if she did not comply with him.

The woman was allegedly coerced into sexual conduct, she also claimed he stole more than $200 from her.

A description of the vehicle led McAllen Police to 25-year-old Victor Francisco Moctezuma.

Authorities say he identified himself as an off-duty Cameron County Sheriff Deputy.

Moctezuma was arrested and charged with theft and official oppression.

Pending the investigation, other charges may be filed.
