Woman Smuggles Ammunition One Time Too Many

A woman who confessed to smuggling ammunition into Matamoros through Brownsville on several occasions gets busted.

Islem Deciga was allegedly trying to smuggle 1,000 rounds of ammo this time. She was arrested at the Brownsville and Matamoros International Bridge. She told investigators she would get paid several hundred dollars for each time she took the ammunition across the border.

Islem Deciga has a hearing scheduled in federal court on November 20.
