MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A former Willacy County District Attorney was arrested Friday, records indicate.
Juan Angel Guerra was charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to the Hidalgo County Jail Records.
He was released on bond Sunday. Guerra has been arrested a number of times over the decades.
He was the district attorney for many year and also ran for congress in 2012.
