What soap should you be using to wash your hands

Local News

Every day, you are hearing to wash your hands.

Doctors recommend to lather your hands with soap, wash in between your fingers and the back of your hands.

However, many are asking which type of soap is better to use.

CBS 4 reached out to health officials to see if there’s a preferred type of soap to use.

“I really don’t think it makes a difference. because the soap, as you wash your hands, it doesn’t matter if it is hand soap or liquid soap, as long as you follow the recommendations,” said one health official.

He also says if you do not have hand soap immediately available, you can always use hand sanitizer.
