Weslaco police locate missing 83-year-old woman

UPDATE: The Weslaco Police Departmemt says they have located Elvira Cavazos.

The Weslaco Police Department is searching for a missing 83-year-old woman.

Authorities are searching for Elvira Cavazos, last seen wearing a dark blue shirt and black pants.

Cavazos has black curly hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds, said officials.

Authorities add Cavazos has been diagnosed with dementia.
