Weslaco man faces four counts of criminal negligent homicide

A Weslaco man faces four counts of criminal negligent homicide following the deaths of four people in Willacy County on Christmas Eve.

38 year old Antonio Quintero Valdez Jr. was charged after an investigation by the Texas Department of Public Saftey.

Quintero was driving a big rig when he crashed into a pickup truck.

DPS says he ended up killing four family members, including a 14 year old and an eight year old all from the small town of Lasara.

Quintero’s bond has been set at 25,000$ per charge totaling $100,000
