WESLACO, Texas — With hospitals across the Rio Grande Valley reaching full capacity, the community is uniting to make things easier for everyone.

The Weslaco Fire Department set up a tent outside of the South Texas Health System ER in Weslaco to assist with the care of COVID-19 patients.

The tent contains 20 additional beds to treat patients experiencing symptoms of the virus.
