MCALLEN, Texas – Wells Fargo Bank executives presented a $10,000 check to the PSJA Education Foundation to assist with the organization’s mission to provide scholarships to PSJA ISD seniors pursuing higher education.

The check was presented on Friday, May 3 at the bank’s Nolana offices in McAllen by Wells Fargo Region Bank President Alma Ortega-Johnson, Wells Fargo Bank District Manager Yolanda Gomez and Wells Fargo Advisors Assistant Vice President of Investments and Foundation Member Marlen Lopez.

The PSJA Education Foundation is an independent non-profit organization that promotes excellence in education by developing and sustaining financial and non-financial support from the private sector to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD students and staff. The Foundation was founded in 2013 by a group of citizens that believe education is the key to a bright future.

The PSJA Education Foundation thanks sponsors and donors such as Wells Fargo Bank for their generous contributions to the academic success of PSJA ISD students.
