The results are in and the voters are a NO for a massive multi million dollar bond.

Early votes indicate 72% (5,141) opted not to have most schools for the growing district of Edinburg CISD.

The $220 million bond, as previously reported by Local 23, would have funded a new high school, middle school, and two Career and Tech Education center.

Had the bond passed, the school district would have raise taxes by up to 4 cents, an increase voters were not supporting.
