VICC Opens Their Own Investigation Over Fire That Burned Down Clubhouse

Local News

The Valley International Country Club has started their own investigation into a fire that burned down the club restaurant in Brownsville.

Brownsville Fire Chief Carlos Elizondo said that is the only update as the investigation continues.

The Brownsville Fire Department is working with the Valley International Country Club to try and determine what caused the blaze on the property last month.

News Center 23 reached out to the Country Club for an update on their investigation but we have not heard back from them yet.

The fire happened in early May and destroyed the VICC clubhouse.

It was a popular restaurant with Rio Grande Valley residents.
