HARLINGEN, Texas — The VA Health Care Center in Harlingen will be hosting its first ever Veteran’s Whole Health Summit and Benefits Fair. It will happen on Saturday, June 8. It is an event dedicated to veterans and their families in order to help them find resources and benefits. The health summit will consist of music, food, and various informative sessions at the Harlingen VA Center located at 2601 Veterans Drive.
John Miller, clinical psychologist, “When they were in the service, they had a mission. When they left the service, they may have lost the idea of having a mission. Their mission right now needs to be to improve their overall health and well-being, so they can live productively.”
