Veterans Choice Program Signage Unveiling at Doctors Hospital Renaissance

Local News

In September 2016, Congressman Rubén Hinojosa announced that Doctors Hospital at Renaissance—who has been associated with the Veterans Choice Program since its inception in 2014—will  now have exterior signage alerting passersby of its Veterans Choice Program designation. On Tuesday, November 15th, Congressman Hinojosa and Doctors Hospital at Renaissance will unveil the signage on the DHR campus. Members of the media are invited to join in the unveiling, which will take place at 5:00 PM on hospital campus at the corner of Dove and McColl Road.

The Veterans Choice Program is dedicated to providing care for Veterans who have faced unacceptable wait times for needed medical services, and are not able to access a regular Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facility. The program makes it possible for veterans to receive the care they require from a non-VA hospital located in their community.

Doctors Hospital at Renaissance submitted an application to be a designated member of the Veterans Choice Program, demonstrating its high standards of care and dedication to providing exceptional service for all patients.
