Jesus Rodriguez, TSC president, “They are going to start to acquire college courses at no cost to them. They can start wrapping up and get their common core or basics out and hopefully have an opportunity to complete an Associate’s Degree. It’s putting them in a great place. I keep telling them it’s about accumulating wealth not debt.
The dual enrollment program allows high school students to be enrolled in two distinct academic institutions at once. The credits earned apply to both high school diploma requirements and college graduation requisites. The program will begin this summer.
