EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) revealed additional cases of COVID-19 at their campus/off-campus facilities.
Since the last update on June 16, 21 members of the UTRGV community who were at one of these our campus/off-campus facilities have been confirmed by medical professionals to have COVID-19.
Consistent with UTRGV protocols, anyone identified within the university community as being at risk of exposure from these individuals has been notified by our COVID-19 Response Team. They have been instructed to be isolated or tested.
In addition, areas of exposure have been thoroughly disinfected and cleaned.
