Two Drug Arrests Made over the Weekend

Custom and Border Protection Officers at the Brownsville Port of Entry busted two loads of drugs over the weekend.

The first seizure involved a 21-year-old U.S. citizen from Brownsville,

He had more than 12 pounds of cocaine inside his car.

The second case involved a 39-year-old Mexican citizen who lives in Brownsville.

He was carrying about 17 pounds of cocaine in his vehicle.

Officers say the narcotics had a combined street value of some $230,000.
