Trial date reset for former McAllen Doctor indicted for healthcare fraud

The trial for a former McAllen Doctor who was indicted for healthcare fraud has been reset until December.

According to court records, the trial for Jorge Zamora-Quezada, was scheduled to begin on Thursday but was reset to next Monday. However, the trial was reset again and is tentatively scheduled to begin on December 4.

As we’ve reported, Zamora-Quezada, along with his wife, Meisy Zamora-Quezada, have both been charged with healthcare fraud.

Zamora-Quezada and his wife are just two of the defendants involved in the fraud.

Meisy Zamora-Quezada was recently released on bond

Some patients that CBS 4 spoke with earlier this year were being diagnosed with disorders.
