BROWNSVILLE, Texas – While the White House says this travel ban is essential to preventing the spread of the coronavirus, there are many who are not happy about it.

At the Gateway International Bridge in Brownsville, many travel to Matamoros on a daily basis. Some travelers say it will affect many families and those who cross.

CBP says they are only permitting entrance to legitimate documented travelers and those who present proper documentation. Border Patrol agents are limiting the access of entry to prevent the entrance of COVID-19 into the United States.
