Suspect identified in aggravated robbery of cell phone.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department has identified one of two suspects believed to be involved in cell phone robbery.

On Wednesday, August 5th at around 4;20 p.m. Sheriff deputies were called to the 2900 block of Diamond Avenue in Mission in reference to a aggravated robbery of a cell phone.

Through the course of the investigation the sheriff’s department was able to identify one of the suspects as Andrew Carlos Gonzalez Oriz, 25, with a last known address in Edinburg, Texas.

Ortiz has a tattoo on his neck stating “956”, another “Praying Hands with Rosary” on his left forearm and uses the name Elijah Rangel as an alias.
