MCALLEN (KVEO) — South Texas College (STC) is now offering two new scholarships to students in need of financial help for the upcoming semester.
According to a release, the college will be awarding $1.2 million in scholarships.
One scholarship will be awarded to STC Dual Credit Program seniors that graduated high school. The scholarship consists of $250. To be eligible students must be enrolled in 12 hours for the fall.
The second scholarship will be offered to eligible students enrolled in at least nine hours. The “last dollar” scholarship will cover remaining balance after grants and other scholarships have been applied, said the release.

The release adds that DREAMers should submit the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and to contact the Office for Students Financial Services at 956-872-8375.
