MCALLEN — To help out the community as a whole, South Texas Health System is raising money for Food Bank RGV.
The medical system is looking to raise ten thousand dollars for the community.
Chief Nursing Officer Wesley Robinson says it’s a way to give back to those in a tough spot finanically.
“We know part of healthcare is having a safe place to live and plenty to eat. With the economic downturn, we understand people are struggling right now,” said Robinson.
Robinson says if you want to donate, you can visit the hospital’s Facebook page for more information.
