EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man urinating outside a state office building in Edinburg lead to a shooting.
City officials provided details on reported shots fired this morning at the Texas Health and Human Services building at 2520 N. Closner in Edinburg.
Roxanne Lerma, the city’s public information officer, said a security guard confronted a man after he saw him peeing in the northside parking lot.
According to a release from the city, the man left the office building, but reportedly struck the security guard with his car.
The security guard discharged his firearm toward the car’s front left tire, the release stated.
Neither man was injured. Both men cooperated with police and neither has been charged.
