A second man is dead in connection with the home invasion

A second man is dead in connection to a home invasion in McAllen.

McAllen police confirmed the death of 32-year-old Arturo Hinojosa.

It happened Saturday night on the 4800 block of La Vista in McAllen.

Hinojosa along with another man were reportedly shot by intruders during a home invasion.

Investigators said several gunmen stormed the home reportedly looking to steal drugs.

According to authorities, two people were shot inside the home.

Hinojosa was found injured in the house, and was taken to the hospital where he later died of injuries.

Another victim, 22-year-old David Means was dumped off at a Mission hospital.

He did not survive.

The McAllen Police Department said Juan Gabriel Martinez Castillo, the renter of the home, has not been heard from or seen since Saturday.

At this time no arrests have been made.
