School Offering Counseling Services for Teen Killed in Pharr Shooting

Counseling services are being offered at McAllen Memorial High School to help students cope with the loss of a fellow classmate.

16-year-old Gerardo Rodriguez was shot last week when he was visiting his uncle in Pharr. Three armed suspects broke into the home and shot Gerardo and his uncle. The teen died on March 19, 2017 from the injuries sustained during the robbery.

His uncle was released from the hospital, and the three suspects remain at large. Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call the Pharr Crime Stoppers.
