RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas — Many roads across the Rio Grande Valley are still closed or dealing with unfavorable conditions from flooding caused by Hurricane Hanna.
The Texas Department of Transportation has an updated list of roads that are still impacted by these conditions.
Below is the list, as of July 29 at 4 p.m.:
Cameron County
SH 4 – 17 Miles East of FM 511 to End of State Maintenance – closed due to flooding
FM 2556 – Business 83 to US 281 (Military Road) – closed due to flooding
FM 2556 – FM 506 to Cantu Road – closed due to flooding
FM 1420 – FM 508 to Cameron Willacy County Line – closed due to flooding
FM 506 – Orphanage Road to Cavazos Road – closed due to flooding
FM 506 – Clark Road to Tio Cano Road – closed due to flooding
SH 107 – Hidalgo/Cameron County line to Cantu Road – closed due to flooding
IH 69E – BU 77 to Ballenger Road – water over frontage lanes, main lanes open
