Police arrested a Mission man accused of stabbing his brother Sunday during a fight.
At 9:45 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1100 block of Miracle Lane to investigate a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, officers observed Hector Pena wearing a bloody shirt.
Hector said his brother, 23-year-old Ezequiel Pena, stabbed him during an argument, according to the criminal complaint. Officers handcuffed Ezequiel.
The brothers told officers the same story: They were fighting in the living room when Ezequiel pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed Hector in the left bicep, according to the criminal complaint.
Ezequiel Pena is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
He remains at the Hidalgo County jail and couldn’t be reached for comment.
