PHARR, Texas – The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD announced they will be hosting a Fill the Bus School Supply Drive.
“We are grateful for our local businesses and families who have enquired about ways to help as we start this school year,” said PSJA Superintendent Dr. Jorge L. Arredondo. “With this ‘Fill the Bus’ campaign those interested in donating can drive-up and drop-off back to school supplies this weekend.”
The community is invited to help support students by donating school supplies such as scissors, crayons, notebooks, markers, pencils, backpacks and others for the 2020-2021 school year.
The event will take place Aug. 7 and 8 from 2 p.m to 8 p.m.
All donations will be distributed to PSJA ISD students, said the district.
To ensure the health and safety of everyone, PSJA ISD urges all individuals to please wear a mask while dropping-off donations. Health and safety measures will be followed during the campaign.
